Bonkers

I first heard Dizzee Rascal drop "Bonkers" when he was supporting The Prodigy at Wembley back in April (or was it May?) I don't know. Anyway, wasn't what i'd usually expect from him but it sent the crowd *mental* and went on to become one of the most rinsed tunes of the summer.

Catchy? Yes.
Overplayed? Also yes.

The tune was given a new twist when producer Doorly put his remix online... It got rinsed at Glastonbury and the Glade and was still going down a storm when it was dropped (frequently) at The Secret Garden Party... If you haven't heard it, i suggest you have a look below ------>

Anyhoo, i digress. The reason for this "Bonkers" update is because i stumbled across another version of this tune by "Son of Dave"... I'd not heard any of his stuff but had heard good things about him from some friends in Devon who saw him play in Exeter. They liked his set so much they duly asked him to sign their breasts after the show...

Enough with the waffle. Have a gander at this video and see what you think. Beatbox looping and a harmonica... an interesting twist.

Enjoy!
